  1. Go to core.app and navigate to the Predictions section.

  2. Search for a market by keyword, or browse and filter by category to find one of interest.

  3. Click on the market card to open the market detail page.

  4. Select an outcome — YES or NO. For multi-outcome markets (for example, "Who will win the 2028 Presidential Election?"), select an outcome from the list first, then choose YES or NO on that specific outcome.

  5. Choose an order type:

    1. Market order: Fills the entire order immediately, or cancels it.

    2. Limit order: Rests on the orderbook until filled or cancelled.

  6. For limit orders, set the desired price. The price must match the market's allowed increments, which vary per market.

  7. Enter the number of shares. The order must meet the market's minimum order size.

  8. View the total cost in USD.

  9. Execute the trade by clicking Trade and approving the transaction in Core. No gas fee is required to place an order.

  10. Receive instant confirmation and an updated view of the position.

NOTE: The price model is 1 YES share + 1 NO share = $1.00 USDC. A YES share priced at $0.65 implies a 65% probability.

Multi-outcome markets

Some markets have more than two outcomes (e.g., "Who will win the 2028 Presidential Election?" with multiple candidates). In these markets:

  • The market detail page lists all outcomes with their current prices.

  • Users select an outcome from the list first, then trade YES or NO on that specific outcome.

  • Each outcome has its own orderbook.

  • The market card in the browse view shows the leading outcome and its price.

Markets not accepting orders

When a market is resolving or paused, it still appears in the browse view, but the trade panel is disabled. A message is displayed: "Trading closed - market resolving."
