  1. With Core extension installed, logged in, and unlocked, select Swap.

  2. Choose the network and the Token to swap from.

  3. Specify the amount to swap or use the 25%, 50%, or Max buttons.

  4. (Optional) Specify the Slippage tolerance or toggle Auto Slippage, where Core will select the lowest slippage possible for your swap. Press Next.

โ€‹Slippage refers to the difference between the expected price of a trade and the actual price at which it's executed. In volatile markets where prices are changing quickly, assigning a higher Slippage increases the likelihood that your Swap will be executed.

  5. Click Swap and then review the transaction details. If the transaction is eligible, users can opt for free gas.

    1. If quick swaps are enabled in the wallet, the transaction approval window will not display. The transaction will execute immediately and users are not eligible for sponsored gas.

  6. Click Approve

    1. Some assets require two separate approvals: first to set a spending limit, and then to approve the swap.

  7. Wait for the swap to complete or click Notify me when itโ€™s done, if applicable.
