  2. Select the + button in the top right.

  3. Choose Import from Ledger.

  4. Review and choose one of two setup methods:

    1. BIP44

    2. Ledger Live

  5. Scan for Device and Connect your Ledger.

  6. To connect to the Avalanche App, ensure your Ledger is unlocked and the Avalanche app open. Then, hit Continue.

  7. Optional: Unlock the Ledger and open the Solana app and hit Continue, to connect to Solana. Otherwise, choose Skip Solana.

  8. Wait for setup to complete then tap, Complete Setup.

  9. Tap Done.

NOTE:

  • Users are only able to import private keys for EVM-compatible wallets into Core. If a Bitcoin address is associated with the private key but has a derivation path not supported by Core, the Bitcoin balance will not show up in your wallet.

  • Core supports 12, 18, and 24 word recovery phrases for importing.

  • DO NOT share wallet access keys with anyone else. No one at Ava Labs or Avalanche Foundation will EVER ask you for your recovery phrase, private keys, or password. If this information is given to another party, it will let them access the wallet, and this CAN NOT be reversed.
