The Core extension includes a wide range of features that support importing recovery phrases from other wallets including Core, MetaMask, and most EVM compatible wallets. Because the Core extension is EVM compatible, a recovery phrase derived from any EVM supported wallet can be used to access Core.
Copy the MetaMask wallet Recovery Phrase.
If Core extension is not already installed, navigate to the Chrome Store to download the extension on the Chrome browser.
Click on the Core extension icon in the browser to be redirected to the log in screen below:
Select Access existing wallet > Manually enter a recovery phrase.
Enter the MetaMask Recovery Phrase.
Create a Wallet name and enable Unlock airdrops to participate in future airdrops.
Set the password and optionally check Stay updated to receive product news and airdrop updates.
Accept the Terms and Conditions.
Tap Next.
Select the style of your Core extension.
Choose an avatar.
All set! Welcome to Core.
